Array Junction Box (AJB) or DCDB is a must use accessory for any solar power plant - grid tie or off grid. It has multiple purposes such as, it reduces the number and bunch of wires coming from the solar panels to the solar inverter by combining multple strings into a single string.
It also protects the solar inverter from any damage caused by fluctuations in the output coming from the solar panels to the inverter. This particular model has a configuration of 1 IN 1 OUT and is recommended for all solar plants of upto 6kW.
