Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with expertise in SEO, content writing, and public relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for boosting our online visibility, creating engaging and impactful content, and managing external communications to enhance brand credibility in the energy and utility sector.

Key Responsibilities for SEO Expert:

  • Plan, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page/off-page SEO audits.
  • Create and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content for blogs, website, landing pages, and marketing materials.
  • Write press releases, news articles, and thought-leadership pieces aligned with the brand’s voice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and bloggers for PR coverage.
  • Develop PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and online reputation.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Collaborate with digital, design, and technical teams to ensure brand consistency and optimized UX.
  • Stay up to date with SEO, content marketing, and PR trends and best practices.
  • Manage company presence on directories, local listings, and industry platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, content creation, and public relations.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword strategy, and link-building techniques.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and WordPress.
  • Experience in media outreach, crisis communication, and press release distribution.
  • Ability to craft content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the energy, utility, or smart grid sectors.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic SEO fixes.
  • Understanding of social media engagement and influencer collaborations.
  • Familiarity with branding and digital storytelling strategies.
