Job Description

We’re looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our tech team to help develop and maintain scalable web applications and platforms, especially within the energy-tech space. You will be instrumental in building backend systems that support platforms like UrjaOne and other digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, efficient, and reusable PHP code
• Work on backend logic, database architecture, and API integrations
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and domain experts to deliver full-stack solutions
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Stay updated with new trends and best practices in web development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Core PHP, Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Solid understanding of MySQL, database design, and optimization
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Git version control and deployment tools
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in energy, utility, or sustainability-focused platforms
• Knowledge of React.js, Tailwind CSS, or Vue.js
• Familiarity with hosting and deployment on AWS or other cloud platforms
